PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Junior midfielder
Taylor Aylmer netted the equalizer for Rutgers women's soccer in the 86th minute to settle a 1-1, double-overtime draw with Nebraska in the Big Ten opener.
The Scarlet Knights moved to a record of 4-1-3 overall, while the Cornhuskers pushed to 4-3-2.

Nebraska's keeper, Aubrei Corder, notched six saves in the match. Savanah Uveges converted on a penalty kick to net the Huskers' goal.
THE MATCH
Nebraska took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick by Uveges in the 22nd minute of the contest.
Despite the Scarlet Knights leading the Huskers in shots (5-4) and corners (3-0) for the remainder of the frame, Nebraska carried the advantage into halftime.
In the 86th minute, Aylmer netted the equalizer to set the score at 1-1. After a blocked header from
Adora Moneme, Aylmer took a one-time shot, burying the deflection to the left side.
The Scarlet Knights led the Huskers in shots (4-2) across the overtime periods. The match, however, would end in overtime for the fourth consecutive time in the series between the programs.
