In the opening minute of the fourth quarter, the Sclaret Knights struck back. Tayla Parkes inserted a corner, and Austyn Cuneo converted to even the score at 1-1.

Five minutes later, St. Joe's answered back, as Kacie Patton tipped in a goal to make the score 2-1. The Scarlet Knights pressed hard late looking to tie the score. QUOTABLE

"Today's loss was frustrating. We did not connect as a team and a very good St. Joe's team took full advantage of that. We now have to prepare and be ready for a really tough game against Delaware on Friday."

- Head Coach Meredith Civico

NOTABLE
  • Rutgers still leads the all-time series against the Hawks 19-9, its most victories against any one opponent.
UP NEXT
