PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Scarlet Knights continue to excel in the classroom, proven this week as the Big Ten Conference recognized 26 Rutgers men's lacrosse student-athletes on the 2020 Spring Academic All-Big Ten list. The mark was the second most among Big Ten men's lacrosse teams.
Adam Charalambides earned the accolade for the fifth time in his career, one of 15 student-athletes to have earned multiple academic all-conference honors. Six student-athletes (Brodie Gillespie, Owen Mead, Kieran Mullins, Sam Oltmans, Mark Schachte and Jack Thompson) were recognized for a third time. Eight student-athletes (Garrett Bullett, Zackary Franckowiak, Ryan Gallagher, Jaryd Jean-Felix, Zach Masessa, Jordan Pakzad, Michael Sanguinetti and David Walker) were honored for the second time.
The team had 16 student-athletes named to the Dean's List. The team's cumulative spring GPA was 3.47 and the team's cumulative GPA to this point is 3.3.
