Women’s Golf Closes Regular Season at Loaded Indiana Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's golf closes its regular season at the Indiana Invitational from April 17-18 in Bloomington. The three-round, 54-hole tournament, hosted by Indiana, will be played on the brand-new Pfau Course, a par-72, 6,254-yard venue. The field features all 14 Big Ten Conference programs and seven top-50 teams.

Rutgers produced a runner-up result at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate on March 30 in Pinehurst, Georgia. The Scarlet Knights finished just one stroke behind winner St. John's (897: 300-301-296) to earn its highest team result of the spring campaign, as RU closed out the invite with a tournament-high 34 birdies across three rounds.
Rutgers carded a 34-over-par 898 (301-298-299) to place two strokes ahead of third-place finisher UNC Greensboro (900: 304-395-301). Junior Maeve Rossi and sophomore Leigha Devine both closed the tournament with top-10 scorecards, as Rossi tied for third while Devine tied for ninth.
Additionally, rookie Annalie Swanepoel won the Monmouth Spring Series on April 5 at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune, New Jersey. Swanepoel produced a four-over-par 76 to finish the individual tournament atop the 15-player leaderboard, which featured student-athletes from Monmouth, Rutgers and Wagner.
