- Rutgers will honor its seniors Izzy Berouty, Gabrielle Callaway, Hailey Hoklotubbe, Anyssa Iliopoulos and Kiana Workman following the second game of Saturday's game.
- Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, fan attendance at the Rutgers Softball Complex is limited to tickets allotted to student-athletes.

| ABOUT THE SCARLET KNIGHTS |
- Graduate Student Gabrielle Callaway and sophomore Payton Lincavage lead the Scarlet Knights at the plate both hitting over .300 entering the final homestand. Lincavage is batting .311 with four doubles, a triple and three home runs and has collected 15 RBIs and team-leading 21 runs. Callaway, meanwhile, is hitting .307 leading the team in hits (35), doubles (7), home runs (4) and RBIs (16).
- Sophomore Ashley Hitchcock continues to lead the hurlers with 103.0 innings inside the circle having made 28 appearances with 19 starts. She leads RU with 68 strikeouts.
- Graduate student Izzy Berouty, meanwhile, has logged 81.1 innings with 13 starts in her 25 appearances. She's sent down 32 batters on strikes.
| ABOUT MARYLAND |
- The Terps comes to the Rutgers Softball Complex at 14-22 overall coming a road trip to Nebraska where they were swept by the Cornhuskers. The previous weekend, Maryland took three of four from Penn State.
- Maryland has a pair of Terps hitting over .300 on the season. Taylor Okada is batting .336 thru 36 games with a team-leading 36 hits, four doubles, a pair of triples and six RBIs. Jaeda McFarland, meanwhile, is hitting .307 with 35 hits, four doubles and a team-leading four triples, three home runs, 17 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
- Inside the circle, Trinity Sclotterbeck holds a 6-5 record in 20 appearances and 81.0 innings pitched. She currently posts a 3.02 ERA with 32 strikeouts. In Sclotterbeck's 14 starts, she's recorded seven complete games.
- Courtney Wyche, meanwhile, has a 2.62 ERA with 3-7 win-loss record in 14 appearances. In her 66.2 innings pitched, she's fanned 33 opponents.
| IOWA SERIES RECAP |
- The Scarlet Knights were topped by the Hawkeyes in their second-to-last home series of the season last weekend.
- Rutgers had its best outing on Friday in an 11-8 setback collecting a season-high 13 hits, the most for the second since Feb. 28 against Purdue. The Scarlet Knights came back from a 5-2 deficit to tie the game at 5-5 in the bottom of the fifth, but the visitors took advantage of the windy conditions for three home runs to go ahead 11-6. RU did not go down quietly. Kiana Workman's double added two runs allowing the go-ahead run to come to the plate with two outs. Unfortunately, RU was not able to add to the score.
- The opening contest with Iowa marked the 10th time Rutgers has taken the lead with their first at-bat.
- Sophomore Kiersten Withstandley led the Scarlet Knights during the series hitting 4-for-10 with a run and has reached base safely in the last six games.
- Payton Lincavage moved to the top of the stat sheet last weekend as she batted four runs in and scored twice over the four games. In Sunday's loss, her hit streak was halted at eight.
- Graduate student Kiana Workman hit .364 against the Hawkeyes, including a double, and three RBIs.
- Fifth-year senior Anyssa Iliopoulos was responsible for three RU runs during the weekend.

- The Rutgers softball team will travel to No. 19 Michigan for the final series of the 2021 season. The series with the Wolverines begins on Friday, May 7. The doubleheader on Saturday, May 8 will air live on Big Ten Network.
