No. 14 Women’s Lacrosse Hosts Lehigh Saturday

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 14 Rutgers women's lacrosse (3-0) hosts Lehigh (0-1) on Saturday at SHI Stadium. The matchup is slated for a 1 p.m. ET draw and will stream on Big Ten Plus. Admission to all 2022 home games is free.
Parking for 2022 women's lacrosse home games is also free, but visitors must register their vehicle with the University through this link. Visitors only need to register their vehicle once for the entire season. Parking for 2022 home games is in the Scarlet Lot outside the West entrance of SHI Stadium.
Last Time Out
Down 11-7 at halftime ad 14-9 midway through the third quarter, the Scarlet Knights muscled a come-from-behind win at Georgetown last Saturday in Washington D.C. RU outscored the Hoyas, 8-2, in the final 22 minutes of the game to pick up the program's first win over Georgetown since the 1999 season.
With Rutgers down 15-12 at the 12:43 mark in the fourth quarter, the Scarlet Knights closed out the game with a 5-1 scoring run. Sophomore Kate Carolonza tied the game at 15-15 off a pass from graduate student Stephanie Kelly, while junior Cassidy Spilis added back-to-back goals, including the game-winner with four minutes to go, to secure the road win.

Kelly Earns Co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week Honors
Graduate student Stephanie Kelly earned Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week accolades, announced by the conference on Tuesday. Kelly combined for 12 points on seven assists and five goals last week in the Scarlet Knights' wins over Army and Georgetown.
Through three games, Kelly leads the Big Ten in points (16) and assists (9). Nationally, Kelly is fourth in the country in assists, ninth in points, ninth in assists per game (3.00) and 20th in points per game (5.33).
Kelly shined in her home debut last Wednesday against Army, as she dished out four assists and netted two goals in Rutgers' 16-9 victory over the Black Knights. Kelly followed with a three-goal, three-assist outing at Georgetown, as her pass to junior Cassidy Spilis set up the eventual game-winning goal for the Scarlet Knights.

Rutgers will play four regular-season Big Ten Conference games on national television this season after the league announced its 2022 spring broadcast schedule. It marks the most regular-season games broadcast linearly since the program began play in the Big Ten in 2015. The Scarlet Knights play at No. 5 Maryland on Sunday, March 20 on ESPNU and will play games with No. 10 Michigan (March 31), No. 6 Northwestern (April 7) and Ohio State (April 28) on BTN.
Milestones
Lehigh opened its season with a tight 13-11 loss at Saint Joseph's last Saturday in Philadelphia. The Mountain Hawks jumped out to a 7-2 lead after one quarter, but Saint Joseph's held a 4-0 edge in the fourth en route to the win. Gabby Schneider led the way with five points on three assists and two goals, while Olivia Memeger produced a hat trick in the loss.
Lehigh finished last season with a 9-4 record and advanced to the Patriot League title game after its run at the conference tournament.

Lehigh leads the all-time series, 21-3. The Mountain Hawks won the last meeting, 9-5, on April 5, 2016.
