Games Friday vs. No. 15 Michigan and Sunday against Monmouth
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 6 Rutgers field hockey enters the weekend as the last undefeated team in Division I field hockey. Holding a record of 10-0 overall and a 2-0 start to Big Ten play, RU hosts No. No. 15 Michigan (Friday, 3 pm) and Monmouth (Sunday, 1 pm).

Both home games will be live streamed on B1G+. Dom Savino will have the play-by-play call for both games. He will be joined on color commentary by Eddie Kalegi on Friday, while Sunday's broadcast will feature former RU captain Kerrie Burns making her debut as an analyst. Burns started 91 games at Rutgers from 2017-2021 and was named the Tournament MVP as RU captured the 2021 Big Ten Tournament title.

Rutgers is 21-6 at home over the past four seasons. Puck Winter has five defensive saves on the season, the second most in the nation. She is the first RU player with at least five defensive saves in a season since Emily Howarth had five in 2017. One more would tie Winter for sixth on the RU single-season list.

The Wolverines are led in goals (five) and points (11) by freshman Kelsey Reviello. In goal, Caylie McMahon has a 1.51 goals-against-average and .781 save percentage. Lora Clarke is third in the conference in assists.
Michigan holds a 12-2 lead in the all-time series against RU. Michigan won the first eight meetings in the series between 1992 and 2018 before Rutgers claimed its first win over the Wolverines with a 3-0 win at home in 2019. The Scarlet Knights also downed the No. 2 ranked Wolverines at Bauer Field in the championship game of the 2021 Big Ten Tournament. Monmouth enters the weekend at 7-3 overall following an overtime win Sunday over Temple. The Hawks enter the weekend second in the NCAA with a .822 team save percentage. Sofia Fouces is seventh nationally in goals and points per game, while goalkeeper Jessie Eiselin is third in the NCAA with a .819 save percentage and 13th with 5.90 saves per game.
Rutgers leads the all-time series over Monmouth, 7-4. The Scarlet Knights have won four straight and are 6-1 against the Hawks since 2012 under head coach Meredith Civico. The last three meetings were decided by one goal, including a 1-0, double-overtime win last year, with Marique Dieudonne scoring the game-winner.
