PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers baseball and head coach
Steve Owens announced the program's class of 2024 signing class on Thursday. In total, eight high school prospects signed their National Letters of Intent to join the Scarlet Knights for the 2024-25 academic year.Â
The class of 2024 includes players from New Jersey (4), Pennsylvania (2), New Hampshire (1) and Connecticut (1) and consists of two right-handed pitchers, two outfielders, two infielders, one left-handed pitcher and one two-way player.
"We are very excited to officially announce the newest group of Scarlet Knights this week. We were able to add eight players who possess the athleticism and skills to contribute immediately and continue our success on the field," head coach Steve Owens said. "Most importantly, these student-athletes are great cultural fits and are the exact types of players we want in our locker room. I want to thank all of our coaches and staff who worked tirelessly to help put this class together. The future of Rutgers baseball is bright."
