PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's swimming & diving team has B1G final tuneup before heading to the 2025 Big Ten Championships welcoming Iowa and Nebraska on Friday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m.
Results from both days will be available on Meet Mobile and DiveMeets.com. Friday evening's competition will be streamed live on B1G+.
On Saturday, the Scarlet Knights will honor nine seniors prior to competition and welcome back alumnae back "To The Banks".

- Rutgers hosted Fordham last Friday afternoon where RU picked up p 14 event victories with individual wins by eight different Scarlet Knights and went 1-2-3 in the 500 and 1000 free and 200 fly.
- Multiple individual wins were captured by four Knights, including a trio of victories by graduate student Shannon Meadway in the 200 free, 200 back and 200 IM.
- Additionally, freshman Katerina Hoffman swept 1M and 3M, junior Megan Fox captured distance wins in the 500 and 1000 free and graduate student Molly Urkiel took the top spot in both the 100 and 200 breast. Urkiel also added a win with the 200 free relay to end the night.
- Hoffman's score on 1M moved the Scarlet Knight into fifth on the RU top 10 list.
- Other event wins came from junior Martyna Piesko in the 100 back, junior Cameron Kuriger in the 100 fly and freshman Allie Allen's first-ever Scarlet Knight event win coming in the 100 free.

- The Hawkeyes are coming off a win over Illinois back on Jan. 17 with the meet coming down to the last event with Iowa securing the victory in the 200 free relay. Iowa amassed 10 individual wins against the Fighting Illini, including a trio by Olivia Swalley in the 100 and 200 breast and 200 IM.
- Iowa has also collected dual meet wins this season against Northern Iowa, Nebraska and Iowa State.Â

- The Huskers and Hawkeyes will meet for a second time this season with Nebraska falling 170.00-130 .00 at Iowa back on Oct. 18. Additionally, the Cornhusker divers make their way back to the boards at the Rutgers Aquatics Center after competing at the RU Diving Invitational back in December.
- Nebraska was last in the water for a victory over Illinois on Jan. 18 with Gena Jorgenson helping her squad to 10 individual titles with wins in the 1000 free, 200 back and 400 IM.

- Rutgers finished 32nd at the NCAA Championships as Holly Prasanto earned second team all-america honors reaching the consolation final on 1M to place 11th overall. She became the fifth Scarlet Knight diver to earn all-america honors and marked the third-straight season Rutgers has sent a diver to the NCAA Championships.
- At the Big Ten Championships, eight NCAA B cuts were registered, 18 top 24 finishes were recorded, 13 program top 10 times were captured and 28 personal bests were set.
- The 400 medley relay squad consisting returning Scarlet Knights Martyna Piesko and Jade Smits had the highest-ever finish for a Scarlet Knight relay squad at the championships with a fifth-place finish and new school record.
- The Scarlet Knights earned the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) team award with a 3.59 spring GPA , marking the 21st consecutive semester. RU has been honored with one of the nation's top grade-point averages. RU's GPA was also the fourth highest among Big Ten women's swimming and diving programs, ahead of Ohio State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, and Purdue.
- Eight Scarlet Knights were honored as CSCAA Second Team Scholar Americans for achieving a 3.5 grade point average or higher while collecting NCAA B cuts or advancing to NCAA Zone diving competition including returnees Sephora Ford, Shannon Meadway, Martyna Piesko, Elysha Pribadi, Amelia Scott and Molly Urkiel.
- Last season, Rutgers women's swimming and diving posted 14 Big Ten All-Academic honorees and five Big Ten Distinguished Scholars.
- The Scarlet Knight diving corps will make the short trip to Princeton for the Princeton Platform Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 8.
- The 2025 Big Ten Championships will be held Feb. 19-22 at Ohio State.
