Colin Kurdyla Named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers attackman Colin Kurdyla added another weekly award to his ledger this week, as he was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday evening. Kurdyla, who was named the Division I national Player of the Week by two different publications, added his first ever Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award.
It was the third Big Ten weekly award of Kurdyla's career, and first since 2024, when he twice was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week. Kurdyla is the first Scarlet Knight this season to be named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, and fifth overall Big Ten weekly award winner, joining Dylan Groff (Defense), Joe Juengerkes (Defense), Dylan Finder (Freshman) and Cardin Stoller (Specialist).
The Bridgewater, N.J. native had eight goals and 12 assists combined in wins for the Scarlet Knights over St. Johns and Bellarmine. On Tuesday, he had four goals and seven assists in a road game at St. John's. He then had four goals and five assists against Bellarmine Saturday.

- Surpassed 100 career points
- Has a new career-high in assists (22) and points (45) this season.
- Leads the Big Ten in points and assists per game.
