  • Three-time Big Ten All-Academic honoree (2020-21, 2019-20 and 2018-19) and named to NABC Honors Court in 2020

  • Made tremendous progress during redshirt season, shedding pounds and adding muscle, while earning designation on the Dean’s List

  • Had double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds against No. 10 Iowa (Jan. 2)

  • Shot 60.2% from the field, the sixth best single-season mark in Rutgers’ history. The mark led the Big Ten. 
  • Hauled in 245 rebounds, 21st in a single-season in Rutgers’ history
  • Averaged 7.8 points per game in 31 games at center (25 starts)
  • In conference games, averaged 6.9 points and 7.1 rebounds
  • Ranked first in the Big Ten in field goal percentage (60.2), fifth in offensive rebounds (3.32), eighth in rebounds (7.9), 10th in blocks (1.52) and 13th in double-doubles (four).
  • Ranked second in the Big Ten in offensive rebound percentage in conference games (14.0), fourth in field goal percentage in conference-only games (53.6) and fourth in the conference in block percentage in conference games (7.0)
  • Was 16th in the nation in offensive rebound percentage (15.0), 32nd in offensive rebounds per game (3.32) and 85th in blocks (1.52)
  • Led team in rebounding 17 times with 12 games of at least 10 rebounds
  • Had five games with at least three blocks
  • Posted team-high 40 slam dunks
  • Five blocks in win over Nebraska (Jan. 25) was most ever by a RU player in a Big Ten game
  • Matched career-high with 18 points twice (vs. Lafayette, Dec. 22 and at Nebraska, Jan. 3)

2018-19 (Redshirt Freshman):
  • Averaged 4.8 points and 5.7 rebounds
  • Led team in offensive rebounds (79)
  • Was second on team in rebounds and blocks (23)
  • According to KenPom.com, finished season 10th in the nation in offensive rebound percentage (15.6)
  • Ranked sixth in the Big Ten in offensive rebounding (2.5) 
  • Among Big Ten freshmen, ranked third in rebounding (5.7) and sixth in blocks (0.7)
  • Posted first four double-doubles of career, three of which came against conference opponents
  • Scored in double-digits six times, includes career-high 13 points against Nebraska (Jan. 21)
2017-18 (Redshirted):
  • Participated in team activities but did not compete in games
 Scholastic: 
  • A 2017 graduate of Long Beach (Calif.) Polytechnic High School, which was selected by Sports Illustrated as the "Sports School of the Century" after producing numerous NBA, MLB and a record 30-plus NFL players
  • A four-year varsity basketball letterwinner under head coach Shelton Diggs
  • Long Beach Press Telegram First Team Dream Team selection as a senior, helping the Jackrabbits to a 22-9 record
  • Had eight points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks against a nationally-ranked Chino Hills team that featured LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball in the CIF playoffs
  • Scored 13 points and had 15 rebounds versus Orange Lutheran in the Nike Extravaganza
  • Was rated as a three-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals and Scout
  • A McDonald's All-America Game nominee
  • Suffered a patella injury in practice and did not compete his entire junior season
  • A four-time LBPHS Student-Athlete Award winner and National Honor Society member
  • Maintained a grade point average above 4.0 throughout his high school career due to performance in advance placement classes
  • Competed on the AAU circuit for the Los Angeles Rockfish under director Dave Benezra and coach Glenn Marx
