Biography

2016: Moved to left midfield, starting all 18 games ... finished with two assists and one defensive save ... had assist in 5-0 win over VCU (Aug. 27) and 2-1 win at William and Mary (Sept. 4) ... made defensive save versus No. 3 Maryland in Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals (Nov. 3) ...  ... named 2016 Academic All-Big Ten ... participated in 2016 Young Women’s National Championship with Team USA prior to season.

2015: Started 17 games at back... had an assist at Miami (Ohio) (Oct. 11) … recorded first assist of her career in game against Iowa (Sept. 18) ... participated in 2015 Young Women’s National Championship with Team USA prior to season.

2014: Started all 19 games on defense, one of just three players to start all 19 games... tied for team-high with three defensive saves... made one defensive save versus Iowa (Sept. 21) ... also had defensive save at Northwestern (Sept. 26) and at Monmouth (Oct. 12).

2013: Saw action in one game as a freshman in a 5-0 win vs. Georgetown (Oct. 12).

High School/Personal: Four year member and three-year starter of Southern Regional High School's Varsity field hockey team ... captained the squad her junior and senior seasons ... named the Ocean County Player of the Year in 2011 ... named to the Ocean County First Team, All-Shore First Team, Coaches All-Division Class A-South Team, All-State Division 4 Second Team, and Atlantic City Press All Stars First Team in 2011 and 2012 ... member of Futures ... played club hockey for the Spirit Eagles Field Hockey Club ... was a member of the U19 squad who took first place at the 2012 Disney Showcase, 2012 National Indoor Tournament and Festival Showcase ... daughter of Ed and Lenore Broderick ... has two older brothers, Eddie and Brian.
