Spent four years at Yale prior to transfer to Rutgers
2023: Part of rotation as faceoff specialist, went 64-of-118 at the 'X' for a winning percentage of 54.2% ... had 22 ground balls, one goal, two assists and one caused turnover ... won five-of-five faceoffs with two ground balls in season-opening win over Marist (Feb. 4) ... stepped in to win 13-of-19 faceoffs with six ground balls in win over Stony Brook (Feb. 11) ... recorded first career points (one goal, one assist) on back-to-back faceoffs against Utah (March 4) ... recorded an assist, went 11-of-19 from the X, and won the most important faceoff of the day to start overtime, scooping the ground ball and starting the RU attack that won the game, 14-13, over No. 13/14 Princeton in the 100th playing of the rivalry game (March 11) ... 11-of-15 from the X in team's loss at No. 5 Penn State (April 21).
Prior to Rutgers: Played in three seasons at Yale, winning 61.5% of his faceoffs … had 42 ground balls and two caused turnovers … helped team to 2019 National Championship Game (runner-up), appearing in all 4 NCAA Tournament games that season

Personal: National Honor Society… earned high honors throughout high school … son of Marie and Raymond Neuman... Father was a swimmer at SUNY New Paltz who became a police officer assigned to the elite NYPD Emergency Service Unit and was a part of the tragic events that happened on 9-11… has a brother, Christopher, who plays lacrosse for the Merchant Marine Academy
