Rutgers Field Hockey to Host Alumni Day on April 24

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (April 9, 2010) - The Rutgers field hockey team will host Alumni Day on Saturday, April 24 at the Bauer Track and Field Complex.
Activities begin at 10 a.m. when the Scarlet Knights take on Rider. Alumni of both programs will face off in the round-robin event. The day concludes with a barbeque following game action. All field hockey alumni are invited for this special day. Rutgers continues its spring season on Saturday, April 10, hosting La Salle, Sacred Heart, Saint Joseph's and Temple. The Scarlet Knights start play in the RU Challenge at 10 a.m. versus the La Salle Explorers. (complete schedule)
The Scarlet Knights commenced the spring campaign on March 27 and following this weekend's competition will participate in a round-robin tournament on April 17 (versus Princeton, Syracuse, Connecticut and Villanova).
