The last Rutgers player to earn a national weekly award from the USILA was Zack Sikora, who was Defensive Player of the Week last season on April 29 after seven ground balls and two points in a 17-10 win over No. 10 Ohio State. This season, Scott Bieda was named Offensive Player by the NCAA after totaling nine points in the season opener against St. John's.
