PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Regular season play in the Big Ten Conference is complete, and Rutgers finished the slate with a 10-4 record, the second most wins in the league. With a 3-2 mark in conference play, RU earned the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Conference Tournament. The Scarlet Knight will play No. 3 seed Johns Hopkins in the Semifinals at 8 p.m. Thursday at Homewood Field in Baltimore. The game will be nationally broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
Statistically, RU placed multiple players among the top of the league rankings. Rutgers was buoyed by its starting attack unit of Scott Bieda, Jules Heningburg and Adam Charalambides. That group combined for 99 goals, 64 assists and 163 points. In regular season stats that ranked second among all NCAA starting attack units.
