The winner will claim the sixth seed to open up tournament play traveling to the number three seed, while a Rutgers tie or loss will keep the Scarlet Knights as a seven seed making their way to the bracket's number two seed.
Indiana has already wrapped up the top seed and regular season title while Wisconsin, Michigan State, Maryland and Michigan are all vying for seeds two thru four on Sunday.
Rutgers is coming off a 2-1 setback at Columbia on Tuesday night. The Lions were able to capitalize on early chances for a two goal edge 15 minutes into the game.
A slide tackle by Vincent Borden in Scarlet Knight territory led to redshirt junior Brian Hawkins collecting the loose ball. On the long pass, Hawkins was able to connect with Jordan Hall at the left side of the box, who then fired from seven yards out into the opposite corner for his 13th goal of the season and cut the deficit to one.
