Kyle Pless Named Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's lacrosse senior long-stick midfielder Kyle Pless was named a Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse in the publication's annual Face-off Yearbook.
The Highlands Ranch, Colo. native played in all 15 games last season, compiling 28 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers. Named Rutgers' Junior Male Athlete of the Year last year, he has 35 caused turnovers and 80 ground balls in 45 career games, while also collecting six assists.
Last season, Rutgers had three All-Americans for the first time since 2003 in Michael Rexrode, Jules Heningburg and Christian Mazzone. All-time, the program has produced 213 All-Americans. Since joining the Big Ten, the Scarlet Knights have collected eight All-American accolades over the past four years.
Additionally, Rutgers was ranked No. 12 in the nation in the Inside Lacrosse preseason rankings. The Scarlet Knights went 9-6 in 2017, recording three consecutive nine win seasons for the first time in program history and recorded four ranked victories.
Five teams ranked in the top-20 will visit HighPoint.com Stadium this season and season tickets are now on sale for the low price of $40. Fans can purchase tickets by calling 1-866-445-GORU (4678) or ordering online via ScarletKnights.com. Rutgers will also host the Big Ten Tournament on May 2-4.
