| MEET QUOTES |
- "I was pretty happy with today's meet. Obviously disappointed with the scoring, but I thought we swam really well and had a bunch of races that if it was a half a second the other way, all of a sudden the meet is tied, if not in our favor. The 100 breast was a great swim for Aleksandra (Ignatova), just a tiny bit short. The 200 free, a great swim for Giulia (Ghidini), but again just a tiny bit short. The 200 back with Terka (Grusova), just a little bit short. I don't think the score nearly reflected how close the meet was. If you added up all the times in those close races, we had 50 points on a total time of less than three seconds. Everyone was a little faster than they were at the preseason tuneup and individually quite stellar. The depth of Iowa led to us losing the meet." – Head swim coach Jon Maccoll
- "They handled the situation extremely well. They stayed very positive and didn't duck away from their difficult dives and went at it. I was very impressed with them. The outstanding part was Jenna Douglass making the qualifying score on the 1-meter for NCAA Zones." - Head diving coach Frederick Woodruff
