PISCATAWAY, N.J. - No. 15 Rutgers men's lacrosse has its lone midweek matchup of the year when it hosts No. 16 Lehigh for a Tuesday night matchup. The game will be at 7 p.m. and air on Big Ten Network, with Pete Medhurst and Mark Dixon on the call. WRSU will also provide a radio broadcast.

Max Edelmann made a career-high 18 saves, including a stop in the final seconds to ice the victory and allow the Scarlet Knights to raise the Meistrell Cup. His 18 saves in the win was the most for any Rutgers player since Kris Alleyne had 21 on Feb. 22, 2014.
Rutgers defensive effort was keyed by the play of
Garrett Bullett, who shut down Princeton's leading attackman Michael Sowers, who entered the game second in the nation in points. LSM
Garrett Michaeli led the team in the win with a career-high four caused turnovers and five ground balls, also scoring a goal in transition.
Tommy Coyne, starting his first game as a midfielder, and
Adam Charalambides each had two goals for RU in the win.
Edelmann currently boasts a save percentage of 64.6%, which ranks second in the nation and is the best in the Big Ten. He also leads the conference in goals against average (8.75) and saves per game (16). As a team, the Scarlet Knights rank in the top-12 in the nation and lead the Big Ten in man-down defense (2nd, .875), saves per game (eighth, 14.5), clearing percentage (eighth, .881) and turnovers per game (11th, 15.33).
ABOUT LEHIGH: The Mountain Hawks enter the contest at 3-3 overall. Ranked 13th in the nation preseason, the team started 1-3 behind a one-goal loss to Hofstra and road losses at No. 11 Virginia and No. 4 Cornell. Lehigh responded with ranked wins at No. 16 Colgate and versus No. 17 Army to even the record.
Connor Gaffney has won 70.6 percent of his faceoffs, the third best mark in the country. On defense, Craig Chick's 131 career caused turnovers are 3rd in NCAA history. In between the pipes is James Spence, who has the sixth-best goals-against-average in the nation at 8.59. Lehigh leads the nation with 40.67 ground balls per game and is seventh in scoring defense (8.83).
ABOUT THE SERIES: Rutgers and Lehigh has faced each other 47 times, with Rutgers holding a 39-7-1 advantage all-time. Rutgers has won the last 13 games, dating back to 1962, and has claimed 26 of the past 27 meetings. Last season, No. 16 Rutgers earned an 8-7 road win at Lehigh behind a late game-winning goal from
Jules Heningburg and a game-high five points from
