
Jules Heningburg and Bob DeMarco to Be Inducted into NJ Lacrosse Hall of Fame

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Two with ties to Rutgers men's lacrosse are set for induction to the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Alumn Jules Heningburg and former coach Bob DeMarco will be inducted on July 21 at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster.
Jules Heningburg was a two-time All-American and two-time First Team All-Big Ten selection, with the Tewaaraton Award Semifinalist finishing second all-time at Rutgers in points. Heningburg scored 117 goals (seventh at RU) and had 90 assists (eighth at RU) for 207 points overall. A four-time All-Star at the pro level, he recently announced his retirement from professional lacrosse and has remained in the game in broadcasting. The Maplewood, N.J. native and Seton Hall Prep graduate had over 140 points in his pro career after being a First Round Draft Pick originally in Major League Lacrosse.
Bob Demarco had a 19-year stint as the associate head coach at Rutgers under head coach Tom Hayes. Demarco recently served as the president of World Lacrosse and has served on the World Lacrosse board since 2017 and on the Nominations Committee starting in 2021.
12 former members of the Rutgers men's lacrosse program have previously been inducted into the NJ Lacrosse Hall of Fame, most recently MG Hollingsworth in 2017.
