Bullett and Sprock Named Preseason All-Conference by Inside Lacrosse

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – No. 16 Rutgers men's lacrosse saw two players recognized as preseason all-conference by Inside Lacrosse as published in their annual preseason magazine, the Inside Lacrosse Face-off Yearbook. Defenseman Garrett Bullett and midfielder David Sprock were tabbed as members of their Big Ten preseason all-conference team.
Bullett enters his redshirt junior season as a team captain. He has been a starter on defense in 28 consecutive games, compiling 59 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers for his career. Last season he had 11 caused turnovers and 34 ground balls, most among the team's returning players, and earned a Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week accolade following the team's win over Princeton. A native of Draper, Utah, he is majoring in Human Resource Management.
Sprock had an excellent debut season as a freshman last year, starting 13 games at midfield. The Dallas, Texas native scored 10 goals and added three assists for 13 points. Sprock had two multi-goal games, doing so against ranked foes in No. 13 Syracuse and No. 3 Maryland. He earned the program's Al Twitchell award, which is given to the program's most valuable freshman.
The season begins at home on February 1. Tickets are now on sale through the Rutgers ticket office and can be purchase via ScarletKnights.com or by calling 866-445-4678. Season tickets are on sale for $50 for all seven home games. Single game tickets are on sale for $10, and group discounts are available for $5 per tickets for groups of 20 or more.
Parking is available for free at the stadium on game days. Fans can register their cars for free parking online.
