"Maryland is a great team, they are the number one team in the country for a reason," head coach
Brian Brecht said. "They are a very talented team. They made us pay for a lot of mistakes. We have to get better if we aspire to be at that level. I love this team, I think we have some talented players, but we have to get better with everything we're doing, especially in big, tough games like this."

"Credit to Maryland, they are a very good team," captain
Ryan Gallagher said. "They came out of the gate fast, so we had to respond to that. They were the better team tonight, so we have a lot to work on. There's a ton of lacrosse left and everything we want to accomplish is still ahead of us. I have confidence that we'll get back this week and have a great week of practice."
