
Scott, Knobloch Named to Tewaaraton Award Watch List Top 25

PISCATAWAY, N.J – Rutgers men's lacrosse had two players on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List Top 25. Ross Scott and Shane Knobloch were named to the listing for the award honoring the top collegiate lacrosse player in the nation.
Scott has posted 25 goals and 12 assists for a team-best 37 points this season. The team captain was named a Preseason and Midseason All-American. In his 50 game Rutgers career, the attackman from West Linn, Ore. has scored 89 goals and added 43 assists for 132 career points, an average of 2.64 points per game.
Knobloch is the team's leading assister with 16 helpers this season, along with 17 goals for 33 points. The 2021 Big Ten Freshman of the Year and 2022 All-American was also a Midseason All-American this year. The midfielder from Moorestown, N.J. has 65 goals and 37 assists for 102 career points in his 42-game career (2.42 per game).
The award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation. Five men's and five women's finalists will be announced in early May and will be invited to the Tewaaraton Award Ceremony in Washington, D.C., on June 1.
