PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers junior Jeff Frazier (Toms River, NJ) has been named to the 2004 USA Today/Sports Weekly All-America second team. Frazier is one of two BIG EAST players to receive the honor, joined by Notre Dame's Matt Macri on the second team.

He was among the league leaders in several offensive categories, including average (2nd), home runs (13, 2nd) and RBI (59, 3rd). He also led the league in hits with 79 and finished tied for third in doubles (16). Frazier was also third in slugging percentage (.657).

He hit .396 vs. lefties and .377 vs. righties this season, while also hitting .420 with runners in scoring position and leading the team with 21 two-out RBI.
The all-time home run leader in school history (34), Frazier is also one of just nine players in school history with 200 hits, finishing the 2004 season with 220, which is fourth all-time. He also has fourth in school history with 167 RBI and fourth in total bases with 370.
