PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Highlighted by several giveaway items, Rutgers baseball announced its promotional schedule for the 2015 season. The Scarlet Knights won their final 13 games at Bainton Field last season and own the longest active home winning streak in the nation.
RU will host four weekend Big Ten series this season, with each Friday game being deemed "Free Stuff Friday." Each of these games will be filled with a special promotional item ranging from free magnets, phone cases, koozies and much more. Visit the marketing table to find out more. All fans 13 years old and under will have the opportunity to run the bases after Sunday games.
For the first home Big Ten game on March 27 versus Ohio State, the first 250 fans will receive a Big Ten inaugural season t-shirt. Alumni Weekend will take place April 3-4 during the Minnesota series, with the April 25 contest against Seton Hall coinciding with Rutgers Day. A full slate of events are scheduled on campus that Saturday.
