Jan 09 | Baseball
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Head coach Steve Owens has announced the addition of Nate McLain to the Rutgers baseball signing class. From Spring Brook Township, Pennsylvania, the 6-6 pitcher will join the Scarlet Knights next fall with two seasons of eligibility remaining.
"Nate is a very polished three-pitch starting pitcher who can log innings and pitch deep into games," Owens said. "He had a great freshman year at Lackawanna and will be called upon again this year to be a huge part of their staff. We are very excited to be adding a big-time arm to our recruiting class, who will bring us both talent and experience. In addition to his numerous on the field accomplishments, Nate is a very high-level student who has equally excelled in the classroom."
