PISCATAWAY, N.J.  – The Rutgers baseball is back at Bainton Field on Tuesday to kick of a six-game homestand. The Scarlet Knights will host two Pennsylvania schools in Lafayette and Penn on Tuesday and Wednesday, with each game taking play at 3:00 p.m. and being streamed on Big Ten+.

Rutgers currently ranks first among Big Ten teams in batting average (.322), doubles (81), doubles/game (2.61), ERA (3.11), fielding percentage (.980), hits (375), OBP (.418), runs (285), runs/game (9.2), shutouts (4), SLG% (.506), WHIP (1.20), BB/9 (3.86) and OPS (.924). The team's marks in batting average (5th), doubles (6th), doubles/game (4th), ERA (8th), hits (5th) and hits allowed/nine innings (6.97, 8th) are all top-10 in the nation. 
 
Admission and parking are free at Bainton Field, but all vehicles are required to be registered to comply with Rutgers University policy. Only one registration per vehicle is needed for the season.
