Why Rutgers? "I chose Rutgers because I am from New Jersey and playing for my home state means a lot to me and my family. Also, the combination of great academics and competing at a high level of athletics is awesome."
Head coach Steve Owens: "We are very pleased that Danny will be joining our program in the Fall. He is an accomplished hitter who had a breakout season in 2022 with his offensive productivity. Danny hits for both power and average and will be a great addition to our position player group. Another NJ product, we welcome him back home to compete for his home state in the Big Ten Conference.
