2016 (Senior): Played in and started 52 games (42 at catcher, 10 at designated hitter) ... earned National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) District II Player of the Year (6/10), an honor given to the top player out of Connecticut, West Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and District of Columbia ... named Second Team All-Big Ten as a catcher (5/24) ... named to the watch list for the Johnny Bench Award, which is given to the top catcher in the nation ... a national semifinalist for the Olson Award, which is granted to the breakout player of the year ... led the Big Ten and ranked No. 6 nationally (first among seniors) with a .524 on-percentage ... the highest OBP by a Rutgers player since 1994 and only the fourth time a Scarlet Knight finished over .500 since 1984 ... also the best OBP by a player in the Big Ten since 1994 ... reached base in 47-of-52 games and had made it on safely in 44-of-84 (.524) when leading off an inning ... hit leadoff in all 52 Miami (2/20) ... started at catcher on Opening Day as the leadoff hitter against the Hurricanes, becoming the first Rutgers catcher to bat first in the lineup this century.

Played in 47 games with 45 starts (44 at catcher, one at second base) ... tied for the team lead and for eighth in the Big Ten with 13 stolen bases ... only caught stealing once ... tied for sixth in the league and No. 93 nationally with 12 hit by pitches ... threw out 15 runners attempting to steal from behind the plate ... played to a .989 fielding percentage defensively ... nominated for the 2015 Rance T.
