2013 (Freshman at Wake Forest): Made 11 appearances with five starts ... logged 25.1 innings on the mound ... struck out 18 batters and held opponents to a .284 average ... had at least one strikeout in eight of his 11 appearances ... made his collegiate debut with start at Alcorn State (2/16), going four innings, striking out four and giving up just three hits ... also started versus Youngstown State (2/24), Rhode Island (3/12), High Point (4/10) and Winthrop (5/14) ... had a season-best five strikeouts against Rhode Island over four innings.

Prior to College: Selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 26th round of the 2012 MLB Draft ... four-year varsity starter, posting a career ERA under 2.00 and a career batting average of .405 ... named all-conference in each of his first three seasons ... ranked in the Top 500 players nationally by Perfect Game ... named Press of Atlantic City 2011-12 Male Athlete of the Year ... pitched for the New York Yankee team in the 2011 Area Codes and for the Northeast Team at the 2011 East Coast Pro ... led Barnegat High School on the football field as well, leading the team to a conference title ... threw for 1,770 yards and 16 touchdowns as well as rushing for another six touchdowns ... also played soccer.
