RaSheed Jones joins Rutgers as a graduate transfer after spending the last two seasons at Coastal Carolina, where he established himself as one of the Sun Belt’s most complete guards. A 6-foot-6, 190-pound playmaker, Jones started 61 of 64 games for the Chanticleers and arrives in Piscataway with significant collegiate experience and proven versatility on both ends of the floor.
During the 2025-26 season, Jones averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while starting all 32 contests and logging 36.3 minutes per night. He shot 39.8 percent from the field, 36.7 percent from three-point range, and 80.7 percent from the free-throw line. As a redshirt sophomore in 2024-25, Jones started 29 of 32 games and averaged 11.6 points per game, ranking second on the team in scoring, three-pointers made (66), and assists (66). He scored in double figures 20 times that season, including a season-high 21 points against Winthrop, and connected on three or more threes in 12 games.

- Earned 4.6 rpg and 2.9 assists, accompanied by 15 blocks and 31 steals.
- Scored double digit points in 25 games, including 11 straight games with 10+ points from December 18 vs App State to January 24 vs Southern Miss.
- Season high 29 points drained in their victory over Marshall on February 21
- Recorded a double-double vs. Saint Joseph’s on December 22nd with 17 points and 10 boards
