Baseball Inks Bradley Norton to NLI
Feb 04 | Baseball
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Head coach Steve Owens announced the addition of Bradley Norton to the Rutgers baseball recruiting class. A shortstop from Pleasanton, California, Norton signed a National Letter of Intent and will have two seasons of eligibility once joining the Scarlet Knights next fall. He is currently in his second season at Ohlone College.
"Bradley is an experienced middle infielder who will have an immediate impact role in our program," Owens said. "He is a very talented athlete who has advanced feel and instinct for the game and has really developed his defense through hard work in the past year. Offensively, he is a top to middle of the lineup guy who can hit for power and handle the bat. Brad is a special type of player that we are thrilled to be adding to our program. He has a ton of talent, plays with high energy and displays a great demeanor on the field. Equally impressive, Brad is a great person who communicates well with his coaches and teammates and carries himself with confidence and maturity. He is a class act and we can't wait to have him on our team and in our campus community at Rutgers."
