Baseball Visits UNC Greensboro for Weekend Series

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Rutgers baseball continues its nonconference schedule this weekend on the road against UNC Greensboro.

The Spartans sit at 4-5 and most recently swept their two midweek games against Elon. UNCG won the SoCon tournament in 2022 and advanced to the Statesboro Regional of the NCAA Tournament.

Rutgers is coming off a 6-3 win over Saint Joseph's in its home opener on Wednesday afternoon.

Drew Conover will get the start for RU on Friday, going against Rob Ready of UNCG. Jake Marshall gets the ball for the Scarlet Knights on Saturday, taking on Jay Miller. Neither team has announced a starter for Sunday.

All three games of the series will be broadcast on ESPN+. Fans can also follow along on Twitter for live updates. Live stats will be available for all three games.
