2021 (Fifth Year): Appeared in 11 games in relief ... struck out eight in nine innings ... stranded 10-of-14 inherited runners ... left an inherited in final appearance against Illinois (5/29) ... earned the win versus Iowa (4/18) with 1.2 scoreless innings to allow for comeback ... moved into the top 10 in the school record book in appearances by working 1.1 scoreless innings with a runner caught stealing on a pickoff attempt versus Penn State (4/4) ... stranded three inherited runners in retiring five consecutive hitters at Maryland (3/14) ... dealt a scoreless inning with a strikeout in season debut at Minnesota (3/7).

2020 (Senior): Appeared in a team-high seven games on the mound ... struck out 12 in 8.1 innings ... had five scoreless outings ... permitted only six hits for a .200 batting average against ... sat down 7-of-8 batters faced to earn the win in relief against Monmouth (3/10) ... fanned two in 1.2 innings at Old Dominion (3/7) ... struck out the side and added a second scoreless frame versus Saint Peter's (3/4) ... stranded the bases loaded with two strikeouts in an inning at North Florida (2/23) ... collected four strikeouts in two appearances at No. 3 Miami (2/14, 16) ... selected as a team captain.

Prior to Rutgers: Played four years of varsity baseball at North Brunswick under former Rutgers third baseman Ryan Lillis … holds the North Brunswick record for home runs (10) and pitching wins (14) ... participated in 2015 and 2016 NJ State All-Star Games ... pitched a two-hit shutout against No. 1 seed East Brunswick in Group 4 State Tournament as a senior ... named 2015 Greater Middlesex County Player of the Year and Home News Tribune Player of the Year ... an all-state selection with a .406 batting average, seven home runs, 26 hits, 25 RBIs, five pitching wins and a 1.63 ERA as a junior ... a two-time team captain and all-division selection … also a three-year varsity basketball starter, serving as a team captain as a senior ... played travel baseball for Full Count and Baseball Warehouse … a member of the National Honor Society.

I chose my major because: The Rutgers Business School gave me a great opportunity to pursue a field I am passionate about outside of baseball.

The people I most admire are: Both of my parents. They’re incredibly hardworking, selfless and always positive. Without their guidance as leaders and as role models for my life, I don’t think I would be anywhere near where I am today.
If I wasn’t playing baseball, I’d be: In the booth doing play-by-play.
Favorite professional athlete: Todd Frazier

Person who had greatest influence on my athletics career: My dad
I started playing my sport because: I am part of the most baseball-centered family of all time. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I chose Rutgers because: My mom graduated from here. Both my parents have worked here my whole life. My brother and I grew up going to every Rutgers baseball, basketball and football game. Putting on the scarlet and black and getting to play for the team I have always been a fan of was a dream come true.

The movie I have watched the most in my lifetime: Forrest Gump
The best actor to play me in a movie: Tom Hanks
Favorite musician/group: Luke Combs

How has Rutgers and donor support changed your life? I’ve been able to attend my dream school and watch brand new, cutting-edge facilities be constructed in front of my eyes while I’ve been here. It has been incredible to be a part of Rutgers' growth on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
