2016-17 (As a freshman): Pinned Kegan Calkins of Oregon State in 5:38 to set the tone for RU’s 38-3 dual win over Oregon State (Jan. 20) … took down Travis Piotrowski with one second remaining for a 3-2 decision to kick off RU’s 19-17 dual win over No. 12 Illinois at the RAC (Jan. 6) … competed at the 54th Annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships (Dec. 29-30) … won the first dual match of his career, 12-4, over Alex Vargas of Maryland to open the Big Ten season (Dec. 11) … posted a 3-1 mark at the Journeymen Tussle (Dec. 4) … went 4-0 at the East Stroudsburg University Open for a title in his first-career tournament (Nov. 6).
Prior to Rutgers: Competed at Phillipsburg HS ... tabbed the No. 62 overall recruit by Intermat and ranked No. 4 nationally at 120 pounds …NJSIAA runner-up at 132 pounds in 2016 and at 106 pounds in 2014 … finished fifth at 106 pounds as a freshman … 2014 Beast of the East Champion.
