2015-16 (As a freshman): Went 2-2 at the National Collegiate Open … competed at the 83^rd Annual Wilkes University Open (Dec. 28) … wrestled at the Nittany Lion Open (Dec. 6) … went 2-2 and finished fourth at the Mat Town Open (Nov. 22) … saw first collegiate action at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open, going 1-2 (Nov. 8).

Prior to Rutgers: A four-year football and wrestling letterwinner at Perry HS … two-time state placewinner and 2015 OHSAA Division II State Champion at 195 pounds … wrestled to a 46-3 mark in senior season … finished fourth in the state championships in 2014 … also a two-time football captain and team MVP … all-academic team selection and National Honor Society member.

Personal: Son of Albert and Michelle … has one sister, Sydney … intends to major in biology.
