2016-17 (As a freshman): Finished as runner-up at the Warriors Winter Open (Feb. 12) … took third at the “Shorty” Hitchcock Memorial Classic (Jan. 14) … notched a 2-2 record wrestling unattached at the 54th Annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships (Dec. 29-30) … posted a 2-1 mark to finish as runner-up at the Mat Town Open (Nov. 27) … finished fourth with a 6-2 record at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open (Nov. 13) … went 4-0 for a first-place finish at the East Stroudsburg University Open, the first tournament of his career (Nov. 6).
Prior to Rutgers: Bergen Catholic HS product ... ranked the No. 50 overall recruit by Intermat and No. 7 nationally at 195 pounds … 2016 NJSIAA State Champion at 195 pounds and 2015 NJSIAA State Champion at 182 pounds … two-time Junior Freestyle Nationals All-American.
