2016-17 (As a redshirt junior): Placed fourth at the Lock Haven Classic (Dec. 29) … finished as the runner-up at the Mat Town Open (Nov. 27) … wrestled to a fifth-place finish at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open (Nov. 13) … went 3-2 at the East Stroudsburg University Open (Nov. 6).
2015-16 (As a redshirt sophomore): Compiled a 10-5 record …. won the 83rd Annual Wilkes University Open Championship at 125 pounds with a fall in the final over Jacob Martin (Dec. 28) … recorded a 4-2 Nittany Lion Open for a seventh-place finish (Dec. 6) … had a 3-1 day at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open (Nov. 8) … won his first match of the year by a 16-1 tech fall over Centenary’s Joey Zargo (Nov. 1).
2014-15 (As a redshirt freshman): Ended the season with a 22-9 overall record and 3-2 dual mark … competed in his first-career Big Ten dual against Ohio State’s No. 7 Nathan Tomasello (Feb. 1) … placed third at the “Shorty” Hitchcock Memorial Invitational, going 5-1 with three falls on the day (Jan. 18) … took fourth place at the Nittany Lion Open (Dec. 7) … finished as runner-up at the TCNJ Open, losing to teammate Sean McCabe in the final (Nov. 22) … placed fourth at the East Stroudsburg Open, finishing with a 5-2 mark (Nov. 16) … made his dual debut at the Rutgers Duals, defeating Alex Reeves (Centenary) by a 16-1 tech fall at 125 pounds and topping Anthony Geiger (Stevens Institute of Technology) with a pin (4:41) at 133 pounds (Nov. 2).
2013-14 (As a freshamn): Redshirt season … finished year 23-13 wrestling unattached … placed third at the National Collegiate Open with a 5-1 record, including four wins by fall (March 2) … took first place in the Messiah Open, going 3-0 with two falls (Feb. 8).
Prior to Rutgers: Amassed a 113-20 career record and was a four-time Pennsylvania State qualifier at Ligonier Valley … placed three times at the state level, finishing fourth as a sophomore and fifth as a junior and senior at 120 pounds … was a three-time PIAA District 6 Champion and a Southwest Regional Champion in 2013 … won the NHSCA Junior National Championship and was named an NHSCA Academic All-American twice … also an all-state competitor for his school’s cross country team, qualifying for four consecutive state championships.
