Prior to Rutgers: Competed at West Essex HS, winning three county titles, two district championships, and once finishing as the N.J. runner-up at 220 pounds in 2015 … named NJ.com’s Super Essex Conference Wrestler of the Year for 2014-15 … captured 103 wins in his career, going 28-3 as a senior … also played football, at West Essex, earning four all-conference, three all-county, and one all-state recognition.
