2016-17 (As a redshirt junior): Went 5-1 for a third-place finish at the “Shorty” Hitchcock Memorial Classic (Jan. 14) … picked up a win at the Lock Haven Classic (Dec. 29) … competed at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open (Nov. 13) … wrestled to a 3-2 mark at the East Stroudsburg University Open (Nov. 6).
2015-16 (As a redshirt sophomore): Went 13-8 overall competing unattached … finished as the runner-up at the Messiah Open (Feb. 6) ... wrestled to a 3-2 mark at the Nittany Lion Open (Dec. 6) … notched a 4-1 day at the Mat Town Open to finish third/fourth (Nov. 21) ... went 2-2 at the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open (Nov. 8).
2014-15 (As a redshirt freshman): Posted a 13-11 overall record in first varsity season … competed in his first-career dual match versus Minnesota’s No. 1 Dylan Ness (Jan. 11) … placed sixth at the Nittany Lion Open (Dec. 7) … wrestled to a 4-1 mark and third-place finish at the TCNJ Open (Nov. 22) … went 1-1 at the East Stroudsburg Open (Nov. 16) … made collegiate wrestling debut competing unattached at the Clarion Open, posting a 2-2 mark (Nov. 2) … won by fall (1:49) in his first match of the day against Jeff Glossner (Unattached).
2013-14 (As a freshman): Redshirt season.
Prior to Rutgers: Completed his career at South Plainfield with a 103-26 career record ... won the District 12 Championship three times and was a three-time Middlesex County runner-up ... a Region 3 Champion ... teammate at South Plainfield with fellow classmates Anthony Ashnault and Scott DelVecchio.
Personal: Son of Dana and Dustin ... has one brother, Jacob, and one sister, Gabrielle ... intends to major in mathematics.
